Description

We discovered a gene, CHCHD2, that is a major regulator of mitochondrial respiration and stress response. We wish to examine variation in sequence and expression of this gene is patient linked databases in the public domain.

Qualifications

Background in biology (including molecular biology and in computer science and willingness to work hard in pursuit of an interesting project.

Project Timeline

Project can start immediately and run 1-2 semesters, depending on progress and by mutual agreement.

Duties

Carry out computational biology analysis of public domain databases, as will be discussed.
