Description

The Long COVID Warriors action council includes patients with Long COVID and providers and staff from primary care clinics who are working together to navigate the Long COVID journey to better health, fostering an environment where experiences are shared, trustworthy knowledge is exchanged, and every voice is heard. The Long COVID Warriors worked with experts and graphic designers to develop a campaign that aims to increase awareness about Long COVID and available resources and treatments. We are getting ready to launch and evaluate this campaign in partnership with Wayne Health, the Wayne Health Mobile Unit, and the Office of Community Engaged Research at Wayne State University.

This project includes both in-person and remote tasks. Students will serve as liaisons with our partners, coordinate all aspects of campaign dissemination, prepare and track toolkit dissemination, and attend health fairs to share toolkits and provide information about the Long COVID Warriors. Students will have the opportunity to attend meetings with the Long COVID Warriors and participate in disseminating findings of the campaign to both academic and community audiences.

Students are asked to commit a minimum of 6-hours per week for 2 semesters.
