Description
Alpha-cyclodextrin is a soluble fiber with an unique property. It has been reported that one gram of alpha-cyclodextrin binds and eliminates 9 grams of dietary fat. This project will analyze the fat content in stool samples collected after consuming meals with and without alpha-cyclodextrin in humans.
Qualifications
Prefer NFS undergraduate students with chemistry lab experience and good in analytic skills
Project Timeline
Starting in July and continue to the end of December, 2014
