This project will involve collaborating with me to collect, code and analyze data on grant-making by the U.S. National Endowment for Democracy to civic organizations in Latin America over the past decade. Student researchers will have the opportunity to learn about project design, data management and data analysis. Students will be able to use the dataset, if interested, for their own research for classes or other projects.
Qualifications
Attention to detail and familiarity with Microsoft Excell, Spanish language skills are not necessary, but are a plus!

Some possible roles include finding and coding data from NED annual reports, maintaining data in a spread sheet, working with Dr. Lean on analysis and write-up of results.
