Description

In my lab we are studying the dynamics and organization of biological membranes with super resolution fluorescence microscopy. We have projects that include the synthesizing of nanoparticles, development of giant unilaminar vesicles, and development of imaging methodologies.

Qualifications

Students with a diverse understanding of Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Computer Science are best qualified. However, many researchers in my lab have only had a class in a couple of these fields and learn the rest in the course of their research.

Duties

Researchers are expected to spend at least 9 hrs/week in the lab in close collaboration with the other lab members.
