Description

Our research examines how parents promote child and adolescent social, emotional, and academic reliance when facing major risk factors for psychopathology. Many of the families we study are facing stressors such as chronic poverty, child maltreatment, chronic illness, and others. We are especially interested in the role motivations such as attachment plays in developing resilience.

Qualifications

We are looking for motivated volunteers, especially those with experience and skill in working with children.

Project Timeline

We are starting new projects every semester. Please apply early so that you are ready to start training at the beginning of the next semester.

Duties

Assistants help with all tasks related to the research from recruiting participants, entering data, checking data, scoring data, data analysis, to interviewing and testing children and parents.
