Description
Our research examines how parents promote child and adolescent social, emotional, and academic reliance when facing major risk factors for psychopathology. Many of the families we study are facing stressors such as chronic poverty, child maltreatment, chronic illness, and others. We are especially interested in the role motivations such as attachment plays in developing resilience.
