Drs. Wu and Klahm in the Department of Criminal Justice are seeking motivated undergraduate and graduate students to perform data collection for their National Institute of Justice funded project that explores the experience with and perceptions of crime among Arab Americans in Metro-Detroit. We are particularly interested in bilingual students who are able to fluently speak Arabic. Review of applications start immediately and continues until positions are filled. Qualifications
Students who are fluent in Arabic and know the culture and local community are preferred.
Project Timeline
We are recruiting students to conduct survey interviews. Training will be provided to the interviewers. It's expected that data collection will start mid-May and last until July 2014.
Duties
Students participate as research assistants who conduct survey interviews with the respondents.
