Description

Youth Empowerment Solutions for Healthy Relationships was a violence prevention curriculum implemented in 8th grade classes in Michigan. The project was based in project-based learning to help students to assess their community and identify projects to promote safer environments in their schools. The project completed data collection in 2020. Interested students could develop research questions and analyze data from the study based on their individual interests.

Qualifications

Students should have some basic experience with statistics. Students will also be asked to complete an online training on responsible conduct in research with human participants.

Project Timeline

The program was implemented in the schools from 2017 to 2020. The project is now primarily involved in statistical analysis of evaluation data and data sharing with schools.

Duties

Support statistical analysis with research team, develop reports for schools, support dissemination of curriculum materials for broader implementation.
