Description

I am looking for an undergraduate student who has expertise in the computational analyses of existing RNA and ChIP-Seq data sets. We have sequenced mammary gland tissues of different mouse strains at two defined developmental stages that need to be analyzed and presented.

Qualifications

The necessary computational skills in bioinformatics related to RNA and ChIP-Seq; the prospective student should have excellent communication skills and be able to present the findings in a publishable form (figures and assist in the writing of a manuscript). This is a great opportunity to get a first-author paper.

Project Timeline

Until a manuscript is submitted and accepted

Duties

Computational analysis of RNA and ChIP Seq data. Literature search and self-initiative to acquire background knowledge in the biology of the mammary gland. Compile figures and write a draft of a manuscript.
