Structural Probes of Charge Transport in Organic Semiconductors

Description

We are trying to use laser spectroscopy to understand how the structure of organic semiconductors correlates with the ability of these materials to transport charge. Students on this project will learn re-crystallization techniques, optical spectroscopy, and Raman scattering spectroscopy. Advancement with the project would also allow students to partake in studies using ultrafast laser systems.

Interested students should identify the experience they possess that they feel makes them ready for this project!
