Research Description

I investigate ways that patient-physician communication contributes to patient outcomes, including racial disparities in cancer care. I have interventions to improve the quality of patient-physician communication, and, in turn, outcomes. This research is generally conducted in the oncology outpatient context, but also other medical settings.
