Narrative Bio

I am a urologist interested in the intersection of urologic oncology and health services research. I did my medical school and residency training at Wayne State University and am pleased to stay at WSU as a faculty member. My interest in research was sparked during my residency at WSU, which lead me to pursue a Master's of Science in Health Services and Outcomes Research from Northwestern University. I am currently a urologic oncology fellow at Fox Chase Cancer Center. My clinical interests are in prostate, kidney, bladder, testis, and adrenal cancer.

My research interests involve outcomes research in urologic oncology. Particuarly, I am intersted in studying variation in practice patterns for men on active surveillance for prostate cancer and how this correleates to clinical and oncological outcomes. I am active in the Michigan Urological Surgery Improvement Collaboartive helping to make WSU and the State of Michigan the best and safest place for urologic care.
