Biography

I am an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Center for Gender and Sexuality where I also work as the Assistant Director and Academic Student Services Coordinator. My research interests include twentieth century American literature, literary theory, Marxism, forms of community, and gender and sexuality. My work has appeared in several journals and the anthology Modernism and Unreadability (Presses Universitaires de la Méditerranée).

Research Description

I am an advisor and student engagement officer with the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Program (GSW). In addition to my administrative work, I am also a part-time lecturer for the GSW Program and Department of English. My research interests include twentieth century American literature, literary theory, Marxism, forms of community, and gender and sexuality. My work has appeared in several journals and the anthology Modernism and Unreadability (Presses Universitaires de la Méditerranée). And I am currently editing a manuscript where I explore queer aesthetic innovation as an engagement with the uneven terrain of sexual history and global capital
