Biography

Leonidas Pittos teaches courses in the Modern Greek language sequence. He also lectures on Classical, Byzantine, and Modern Greek literature and history. His research interests are in Late Byzantine religious and intellectual history. His current projects include a translation of the Triads of St. Gregory Palamas (1296-1359) along with his intellectual biography, studies and translations the hagiographical and exegtical works Philotheos Kokkinos, and the historical works of John VI Kantakouzenos.
