His research focuses on using biologically active materials to guide the differentiation of stem cells to bone cells in small polymer micro-spheres, with the ultimate goal of creating an injectable bone regeneration therapy for patients with bone defects or injuries.
Biography
Kevin is a graduate student assistant with the Office for Teaching and Learning, and assists the office by researching current peer review of teaching practices and organizing workshop materials. Kevin also supports the activities of the various grants held by the OTL. He has a strong interest in promoting education in the STEM fields and is working towards a PhD in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science.
